An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Graduate Nurse and/or Midwife to join the team at Latrobe Regional Hospital. This will be for a full 12-month graduate program at 0.8EFT, rotating through Latrobe Regional Hospital clinical area and Latrobe Community Health Services (two 6-month rotations). We have intakes starting in both January and July and successful graduates can request their preferential start date and clinical unit.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager on your allocated units/wards, in collaboration with the Graduate Nurse and Midwifery Coordinator, you will be expected to perform the duties of a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife during your graduate year and expected to meet all the requirements outline in the Position Description attached.
Graduates who are successful in obtaining this position will have a strong desire to work within a hospital and community setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Graduate Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) to join the team at Latrobe Regional Hospital. This will be for a full 12-month graduate program at 0.8EFT, rotating through two different clinical areas (two 6-month rotations). We have intakes starting in both January and July and successful graduates will have rotations through our Midwifery Unit (Thomson) for 6 months, our Emergency Department for 3 months and then will return to Thomson for 3 months to complete a Paediatric rotation as well.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager on your allocated units/wards, in collaboration with the Graduate Nurse and Midwifery Coordinator, you will be expected to perform the duties of a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife during your graduate year and expected to meet all the requirements outline in the Position Description attached.
Graduates who are successful in obtaining this position will have a strong clinical focus with the desire to continue to develop as a midwife with an understanding of the importance of family centred care.
